 at Greenville Christian School this past week!!

This week has been very busy at GCS! Here are some of the things that were going on in the elementary classrooms this past couple of days.

The 7th Grade is working on the Science fair going down on February 19.
A couple of the students are doing experiments like, "Does different food affect your heart rate?" and, "What cools down spicy foods the most effectively?"

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------


6th Grade has been painting murals and drawing pictures of different governors and more importantly, Mr. Bowers.
They are also making fossils out of sponges.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The 2nd grade is learning cursive, practicing for their speech meet, and have learned about Martin Luther King Jr. and his struggle against segregation.

The 3rd grade has made some lovely snow-globes out of paper plates.

5th grade made explosive baking soda volcanoes!

6th grade has started their art project on Creation ( the earth and heaven ) in their own way. We'll post the finishing product soon!!

Second grade recently added a new student, Jack the hamster.

Second grade has been working hard at learning cursive for the first time and telling time correctly. They have also been learning about the Native Americans and their lifestyles.

At the 5th and 6th grade chapel, Mrs. Bowers shared her testimony on the DR trip and told stories of what happened with the kids of Saint Alicia.
6th grade is also working on a creation project.
