It has been Homecoming week at GCS, and there is plenty to share!

Each day has had a different theme to it:

Monday -  Crazy Tie Day

Tuesday - Comfy Casual Day

Wednesday - Crazy Sock Day

Thursday -  Nerd Day

Friday - Green Black and White Day

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This week, the Second Grade learned a variety of subjects, learning Health Science and reading the story of Moses, the Israelite's Exodus, and the Ten Commandments.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Third Grade got creative this week by writing stories on many themes, including a story based around their best friends.

 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On Thursday, we got to see Will Martens visit the Elementary Chapel as he gave the young students an inspiring message about being not only an athlete for the school, but being an athlete for Christ.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the Fifth grade, they studied art and culture as they learned about famous artists such as Bach, Michelangelo, and Da Vinci.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Our Eighth Grade music class tried some new things as they made Stomp music using only basketballs. Meanwhile, the Drama Ministries class has been practicing improv, using only song lyrics and movie quotes to express themselves.
