-- Week of 9.2.13 --

Welcome to RISE Online.

We hope all of you had a relaxing and rejuvenating Labor Day on Monday! To learn more about the holiday, which was created in 1894, click here:

Here are some highlights of what happened in the
energetic halls of the Elementary building this week.

Enjoy!

This week, third grade created cutouts that illustrated themselves explaining why they are unique. They also finished their first book, Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing.

The fourth graders became scientists this week as they examined grasshopper cells
and did experiments on celery. To end their scientific expeditions,
they played an exciting game of gaga ball!

Sixth grade started algebra this week after a great worship session led by Mrs. Bowers.
