-- Week of 12.2.13 --

Welcome to RISE Online.

Here are some highlights of what happened
at Greenville Christian School this past week!!

*We apologize for the delay, due to the weather we were unable to post on the exact date*

Enjoy!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This week was the 37th annual Christmas program led by Miss. Fenner of the music department at our school. She has done an amazing job with the students on Grandparent's day and continues to do so in this program. The students sang Christmas carol's and played junkyard instruments to show their God-given talents to their families. She also directed the Drama Ministries next skit to the audience the true meaning of Christmas.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On Tuesday, Senator Bob Deuell of the Texas Senate came by our school to talk to the 7th grade class and had also a photo shoot with some of the kids in elementary!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We asked some of the kids what they were thankful for, and here are their responses:

Wilson Feezel - "I'm thankful for God."
Matthew Sundeen - "Food is what I'm thankful for!"
Tommy Witt - "I'm really thankful for my Grandma making it through cancer."
Elijah Smith - "The high school kids are what I'm thankful for."
