-- Week of 2.18.14 --

Welcome to RISE Online.

Here are some highlights of what happened
at Greenville Christian School this past week!!

Enjoy!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This week was a very emotional week for everyone at GCS. For this year was the year that the Shattered Dreams event took place. Students from both GHS and GCS participated in this event to simulate the horrific reality of drinking and driving. Thanks to all of the parents and the student body for giving these select people the prayers they needed to get through the week.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Second Grade had their Skate Safari FIELD TRIP! They got to hang out with the 9th grade class and Dominican Republic team this past Thursday. Everybody had a good time and much fun was had by all the students, elementary and high school alike. They also made a volcano.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sixth grade is still working on their state flag project.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The fifth grade has started their planet elections now that they have finished the Conservation Project. They are making video advertisements for all of the different planets.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Middle School Science fair has concluded, with the winners being:
1st: Rebecca Davis (Life Science) and Anna Simpson (Physical Science)

2nd: John Bleier (Life Science) tied with Cooper Arnold and Jillian Fifield (Physical Science)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
